We are now looking for an outstanding production engineer who is ready to reach out to and to make its mark on our new production facility at Lehliu Gara. People whose biggest strengths are positivity, professionalism, ambition, meticulousness and who can use communication, and planning skills to build relationships.
The ideal candidate will be a driven communicator with experience in industrial production or similar roles. The Production Engineer will monitor and control the production and will be the main point-of-contact for technological flow, manufacturing processes and quality control.
Requirements:
• Degree in technical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within the panels production industry
• Knowledge of technological flow, manufacturing processes for sandwich panels
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools
• Abilities in PC operation (Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP)
• Fluency in English - B2 Level
• Presentation, communication, and planning skills
• Experience in leading teams
• Strong leadership in a TPM/Continuous Improvement environment
• Able to work under pressure in a production environment with a high energy and proactive style
• Shift working schedule program
Job responsibilities:
• Manage all production activity in responsibility area and provides guidance and recommendation on various issues related to production processes and flow. The role reports directly to the Plant Manager;
• Ensure compliance with Company's quality, labor, safety, health and environment policies and guidelines and with local Law and Company regulations;
• Lead continuous improvement activities and support initiatives to improve efficiency;
• Maintain a safe working environment and provide continuous coaching support to team members;
• Ensure that products are consistently manufactured by meeting prescribed standards in cost and quality;
• Explaining non-conformities in the process and the root causes, proposing and taking corrective and preventive actions;
• Tracking and reporting the production progress and consumptions;
• Ensuring the implementation of the maintenance program;
• Optimizing the production process (time, quality, costs) and implementing Lean Management principle;
• Involvement in the development of production capacities;
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
